Hello from
Butte, Montana. My name is Sharon Bond and I retired June 1998. I
taught Kindergarten and First Grade for 14 years and spent 13 years working and teaching
computers. When I retired I was the Computer Elementary Coordinator for Butte School
District #1. Teaching was very dear to me and I loved every minute of it. I retired with a
total of 30 years. I was afraid I was going to really miss it but I have to admit
it........I LOVE THIS RETIREMENT business. I do miss all the kids and my
friends who I taught with. I am excited and having so much fun still
teaching my classes online and have met some wonderful and talented people.

- Conducted
Internet Relay Chats with students and US Senator Max Baucus.
- Participated
with Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory in a video presentation
titled "Get Wired."
- Presented
VideoConferencing with the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory for
Safe, Disciplined, and Drug-Free schools.
- Assisted a
VideoConferencing session with the Western Center; State Superintendent
of Schools, Nancy keenan, invited Legislators and staff.
- Facilitated
district computer and technology in-service staff training for both
administrators and teachers in Butte School District #1, Butte, MT.
- Invited by
American Teacher Journal from Washington D.C. to write software reviews
for the American Teacher. 1993-1996
- Conducted
computer workshops for AFT Conventions, Special Education Conferences,
MEA Conventions and ICCE Convention (Indianapolis, Indiana), and
